Roddy is mad-keen on genealogy. He is virtually the Chieftain of the Clan Macduff. Professionally he was an electronics engineer and developed the very fabby HF90 communications radio that can hop frequencies 5 times per second thus keeping communications top secret! And you thought he looked like a hippie 😉
Nowadays he is a volunteer with the Salvos in Perth WA, feeding and clothing homeless people and working in the food bank. He is also one of the guides at the Omeo submarine which you can find at the Maritime Museum in Fremantle WA.

I’m an English teacher by trade but am working relief these days to avoid all the marking that spoils your life but retains the life-affirming, funny, and sometimes challenging interaction with those kids.
The collage above was made by my son, Paul Drauz-Brown, for our wedding in 2014. He merged Scotland onto Australia and used lots of photos and symbols which are meaningful to us. Cool, eh?
